She studied at the University of Latvia, where she gained a master's degree in biology and currently developing her PhD thesis “Wheat yellow rust (caused by Puccinia striiformis) biology and possibilities of control” at The Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies.
The work experience has been acquired at the Latvian Plant Protection Research Centre, a group of arable crops pathology (2012-2018), where it has ensured an evaluation of the effectiveness of plant protection products.
Since 2019 she is taking active participation in research in the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies Institute of Plant Protection Research “Agrihorts”.
Resarch areas - phytophatology of arable crops.
She is the author or co-author of peer-reviewed publications indexed in SCOPUS, with an h-index of 3.
