Elīna Brauna-Morževska (Mg. biol.) has obtained a Bachelor's and Master's degree in the Faculty of Biology of the University of Latvia. The Master`s thesis was developed at the Latvian State Forest Research Institute "Silava" forest phytopathology and mycology group. Elīna is currently developing a PhD thesis “Biological properties of Botrytis spp. and their occurrence in legumes” at the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies. The work experience has been gained at the Latvian Plant Protection Research Centre at the arable crops pathology group, where tests for the effectiveness of plant protection products were carried out, and in a microbiology laboratory.
