Aim:

To test the effectiveness of the mechanical weed control performed using
modern equipment and the possibility to reduce the soil seed bank, to
reduce the use of chemical herbicides in broad beans and winter wheat.

Objectives:

To test two modern methods of mechanical weed control: (1) interrow
cultivator equipped with an optical system to protect crop rows,
implemented in winter cereals and broad beans; (2) rotating  harrow
(weeder), a technology that reduces damage to the crop and can be used
to control weeds both immediately after sowing and at the early crop
development stages in broad beans and winter cereals.
