About

Acquired bachelor's (2016) and master's (2019) degrees in agronomy with a speciality in rural farming, studying at the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies. As part of the Bachelor 's and Master' s work study, the possibility of using ground beetle (Coleoptera: Carabidae) as indicators for the management of the habitats of protected grasslands in the European Union has been studied. 

Since 2019, he works as scientific assistant at the Scientific Institute of Plant Protection, Agrihorts, at the LBTU. Responsibilities include developing methodologies for projects, consulting with partners, coordinating fieldwork and working in the laboratory. He handle material processing, data acquisition, mathematical data processing using and writing reports, also the preparation and submission of publications and attending conferences. 

He made significant contributions to the fields of entomology and agronomy through various research projects and publications.

He is the author or co-author of  peer-reviewed publications indexed in SCOPUS, with an h-index of 3.
