In 2021, she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences (Biology) from the University of Latvia. Her Bachelor’s thesis was developed in collaboration with the company SIA Alternative Plants and focused on Characterization of Japanese quince (Chaenomeles japonica) cell suspension culture for biotechnological applications.”

In 2025, she joined the Institute of Plant Protection Research “Agrihorts” at the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies, where she is conducting her Master’s research entitled “The effect of Alternaria spp. infections on mycotoxin accumulation in rye (Secale cereale).”

Her research interests include plant pathogens, infection mechanisms, and mycotoxin formation.
