The aim of research
To find alternative solutions to control the sea buckthorn fruit fly and improve crop technology for higher yields.
The tasks of project:
- To find the most effective attractant for the mass trapping of the sea buckthorn fruit fly Rhagoletis batava under field conditions
- To find a suitable trap design for the mass trapping of the sea buckthorn fruit fly
- To find the most economically feasible watering system for buckthorn
- To find a fertiliser formulation and type suitable for organic farms that ensures crop quality and increases total yield
- To evaluate the economic viability of the technical solutions developed for sea buckthorn cultivation
