Project description

The aim of research
To find alternative solutions to control the sea buckthorn fruit fly and improve crop technology for higher yields.

The tasks of project:

  1. To find the most effective attractant for the mass trapping of the sea buckthorn fruit fly Rhagoletis batava under field conditions
  2. To find a suitable trap design for the mass trapping of the sea buckthorn fruit fly
  3. To find the most economically feasible watering system for buckthorn
  4. To find a fertiliser formulation and type suitable for organic farms that ensures crop quality and increases total yield
  5. To evaluate the economic viability of the technical solutions developed for sea buckthorn cultivation
