Diamondback moth is considered to be one of the most important pests of cruciferous vegetables in the world. It is multiplying rapidly and the number of generations depends directly on the climatic conditions in a given region.

Aim of the project is to find out the possible increase in the number of generations that develop during the year, and thus the devastation, due to climate change-related volcanism in cabbage. Insect phenology studies are needed to develop a control strategy.

Diamondback moth imago monitoring;
Diamondback moth egg counting on plants;
Evaluation of larvae and their damage in cruciferous vegetable plantations;
Monitoring of pests of other cruciferous vegetables
